Did U Know - Omega 8006 Nutrition Center Juicer Review

Omega 8006 Nutrition Center Juicer Review
Omega 8006 Nutrition Center Juicer Review - Nowadays, a lot of things have changed from how they was, which can be new and exciting for many.
A Very Practical Juicer
The Omega 8006 Nutrition Center is an extremely practical juicer. It's a great option for people who want to get health benefits out of juicing, but don't necessarily have tons of time to devote towards juicing.
When most people decide they'd like to get into juicing for health benefits, they go straight for twin-gear, cold-press masticating juicers. While those types of juicers are excellent - they extract tons of juice from their produce and always make an extremely rich tasting and nutritious juice - they can be rather time consuming and inconvenient.
This is the reason I often suggest single-gear juicers - they're more practical! The only difference between single gear and twin gear juicers is the yield of juice they extract from the produce; twin gears typically produce a higher yield. However, the quality of the juice they make is the exact same. Neither has more nutrients or vitamins than the other.
So, you probably have the time to devote to a twin gear juicer, that's awesome! Go ahead and buy one. They are incredible machines and really will extract every last drop of juice from whatever it is that you're juicing. However, if you would prefer to save a little time juicing, but still want all the health benefits of a masticating juicer, get a single-gear juicer.
The Omega 8006 Nutrition Center is not only practical because it's a single gear juicer. Yes, it juices produce relatively quickly and still upholds a motor speed of only 80 RPMs. That speed makes it a cold-press juicer, which means juice does not heat up and therefore protects the digestive enzymes and nutrients in the juice (unlike juicers with motors that are faster than 200 RPMs).

But it's practical for more reasons than that! It's very easy to set up. When you first pull everything out of the box you might feel a bit confused but after doing it once it's all just so intuitive you'll never feel confused again. For the same reason, it's very easy to take apart and clean.
The entire juicing chamber twists off from the motor so it is vitally easy to simply transfer everything it is advisable to clean right into the sink. One twist and one transfer! Then, the rest of the cleaning process is mostly rinsing and a little scrubbing (with a brush that is provided). Rinse off any juice or pulp from all the parts. You will definitely need to scrub pulp off the screen (or it will end up clogged) and you might have to scrub a bit at the nozzle, but I can usually just push the extra pulp through with my finger. The entire process takes around 2 or 3 minutes. That's all! Who said cleaning masticating juicers was difficult?
I honestly think cleaning a centrifugal juicer is a much bigger hassle. Yes, you get to put the parts in the dishwasher, but dealing with the blade and the pulp screen is always so much harder. You must wiggle them around to get them in the right spot, they clog. It's not fun!Omega 8006 is a Great Juicer
The Omega 8006 can handle any kind of fruit or vegetables you decide you'd like to put into it! Apples, peaches, oranges, cantaloupe, watermelon, mangoes, carrot, celery, tomatoes, spinach, kale, bean sprouts, wheatgrass, pine needles or even aloe (to name a few)! You can juice produce that is soft, hard, pulpy, stringy, absolutely anything and you are going to get a pretty great yield of juice from it; AND the Omega 8006 won't take a very long time to juice it (this is where the convenience factor kicks in when compared to a twin-gear juicer). This is likely due to its newly designed auger that is 8 times stronger than previous models. The great part is, if you decide that your pulp is too wet and you wish you got some more juice out of it, just send it through the juicer a second time! It only take another few seconds and you may usually get another ounce of juice or so if you really want it.
Not only does it produce a high yield of juice in a short while frame, it's pretty quiet and barely produces any foam. And although it rarely ever clogs, there's a built-in reverse button for those rare occasions. You'll never have to stop to take the juicer apart and fish out something that clogged it up because it can unclog itself. This aspect is very convenient. And like all masticating juicers, it automatically dispenses pulp, which is a definite bonus of centrifugal juicers. Fast, delicious, rich tasting, not foamy juice that's made in a flash. That's everything I want from a juicer! However, let's not pretend it's absolutely perfect. The Omega 8006 does have a few short comings. The factor that people tend to find most inconvenient is the size of the feed chute. It's feed chute is only 1.5" wide which means you do have to chop up your produce into 1.5" chunks. Some people find this to be very annoying but I think it is simple a factor of all cold-press masticating juicers. To ensure that the juicer to have the ability to juice your produce effectively in a reasonable time period using a motor that is slower than 200 RPMs, your produce has to be cut relatively small. Centrifugal juicers or non cold-press juicers can afford to have larger chunks of food put through them because they have the additional speed to chop it up themselves. However, if you'd like healthy juice, you will definitely have to cut up your produce. But, that doesn't change the truth that people find it annoying.
It also includes rather heavy - around 16 lbs. Although it weighs this much because it is a nice, sturdy machine, I could see it being rather trying on an elderly person's body to move around. However, it comes with a built in handle for easier pick ups. I guess this is another trade off: if you'd like your machine to last, its often good if it is built of strong, stable materials, but that also makes it more difficult to move around.
Speaking of the machine lasting a long time, this juicer has an excellent warranty! Not many other juicers have a 15 year manufacturers warranty! And Omega honors their warranties and takes customer service very seriously. When you purchase an Omega 8006 Nutrition Center, you can rest assured that they will maintain you if you run into any problems down the road. That's a great thing to know! The Omega 8006 is Versatile
The Omega 8006 is called the Omega Nutrition Center because it can do much more than juice. If you take off the juicing screen and instead use the homogenizing "screen " or blank screen, it is advisable to use your juicer to do tons of other kitchen tasks that a food processor or blender can do (and more):
mince or chop herbs, spices, ice, meat, fish, vegetables. etc
grind up coffee or grains to make fresh flour
homogenize vegetables and fruits into nutritious homemade baby foods
homogenize frozen fruits (and maybe some dairy) into delicious frozen snacks (much healthier than ice cream!)
grind up nuts into freshly made nut butters (peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter, or a medley)
make fresh soymilk and save money while reducing waste
use the nozzles to extrude various kinds of pastas (you can also make your own brown rice pasta, whole wheat pasta or simply delicious homemade white flour pastas)
extrude dough for rice cakes or moki, bread sticks, anything you can think of!
lets not forget it juices fruits, vegetables and wheatgrass
The great thing is, it does all of these tasks extremely well and comes with all the parts needed. Some juicers boast about additional functions but then just when you are ready to buy it, you find out you actually have to purchase additional parts and accessories to be able to do those things. Not the Omega 8006! Everything you need comes in the box with your original purchase. Did you ever think you could have so many machines built right into one great machine? The Omega 8006 Nutrition Center really does make it easy to add some nutrition to your life!Summary - Omega 8006 Nutrition Center - Best Juicer Ever!
Ok, so I don't actually like to say that the Omega 8006 Nutrition Center is the best juicer ever, because it being the "best" would really depend on what your wants and needs are with a juicer. However, I do think it's great! Here's a quick summary of why:
